SLUSH is Tamaki Makaurau and co-founded by designers Charlotte Watel (27) French/American) and Nayesha Mulholland (29) Ngāti Uepohatu/Ngāti Porou). Charlotte’s technical skills and Nayesha’s textile sensibility come together through their shared interest in the intersection of nature and fantasy. 

The duo have mused a new being emerging from the mycelium web of a post-apocalyptic forest floor, drawing inspiration from the tension between the processes of growth and decay. Their debut fashion show in July of 2022 launched the brand, which has since expanded from dramatic couture pieces to denim ready-to-wear. 

SLUSH will feature in Go Media Miromoda 2023.
