WANOA FOUR is a whānau of intelligent creatives, deeply committed to inspiring pride in identity!   Built from a foundation of cultural expression, a commitment to kaitiakitanga (guardianship) and a practice of prioritising VALUES over volume, Wanoa Four is an intergenerational brand, creating timeless garments and taonga meant for longevity.  Designed and made in New Zealand, we are about celebrating whakapapa (genealogy), craftsmanship, innovation and indigenous design solutions - a mash up of meaningful creation where purpose fuels passion and good design futures. Our contributions draw from kaupapa Māori approaches that underpin our exploration of new forms, materials and technologies whilst maintaining key indigenous values and principles in all design work.

NZFW COLLECTION - Me mihi, ka tika ki tō tātou hononga ki Miromoda me NZFW, we are excited to be returning to NZFW and are privileged to be showcasing this collection with our Miromoda whānau after more than a decade working together! We've been immersed in a project that we are deeply passionate about, exploring how traditional knowledge systems can transform the current textile system. Our new collection reflects this mahi and embraces the notion of interconnectedness depicted by whakapapa. It highlights the reciprocal relationships between people and place - He Oranga Taiao, He Oranga Tāngata.
