El Reilly

Passionate about innovative design, I am a Zero-waste designer, continually exploring new methods to create and produce sustainable fashion. Continuing on from my studies at Massey University, the majority of my fashion practice is focused on finding methods and systems where sustainability supports fashion to fulfil wearer ideals through aesthetics and function. I have previously worked with brands to minimise waste through creative lay planning and minimal waste concepts. As a designer, I am excited about the future of fashion and how we move forward to address the key challenges currently impacting the clothing and textile production. Studying throughout the Covid-19 pandemic has led me to understand the immense amount of change needed to rethink the fashion industry, and as a designer entering this industry I am looking forward to connecting with people interested in sustainable fashion.

El Reilly is a graduate of Massey University and will feature in the Graduate Show.
