The collection ‘Masculinity with a Flare’ aims to challenge gender stereotypes around masculinity, for men seeking to explore their fashion boundaries. Masculine stereotypes are challenged through daring colour, courageous print combinations, adventurous textures and sharp silhouettes. The range is a colourful and audacious collection that not only contests gender roles in fashion, but also questions the way colour and print are combined to make a statement on the street. This is a conceptual collection, pieces of which may be developed into commercial variants in the future. My collection showcases my passion for tailoring, CAD and traditional pattern making, coupled with my desire to create opportunities for men to explore clashing prints, and fearless colour combinations. This experimental menswear collection aims to push boundaries and comfort levels among fashion consumers in the menswear sector.

Charlotte recently completed a Bachelor of Design degree with honours majoring in Fashion at Massey University. Charlotte Mangos will feature in the Graduate Show.
