Do you want a career in fashion photography?
The 2017 NZFW photography competition, supported by Kingsize Studios, is your chance to attend New Zealand Fashion Week 2017 as an apprentice photographer.
We're looking for 20 aspiring photographers to be part of the NZFW team at this iconic New Zealand event.
These 20 photographers have the chance of a lifetime to work across the event, shooting catwalk, backstage and around the venue, with the goal of furthering their practical experience and launching their photography career.
This year, Kingsize Studios will be overseeing the competition. Founded in 1998, Kingsize provides market leading service and facilities to the photographic industry.
Representatives from the Kingsize tem will oversee the photography competition through the week, ensuring entrants are getting the best shots they can, and the winner will receive a place on one of Kingsize Studio’s renowned Workshops.
You will also be working alongside some of New Zealand’s leading photographers, as well as experiencing New Zealand’s top designers – learning first-hand what it's like behind the scenes.
To be considered for the 2017 NZFW Photography Competition enter your personal details below, with a 100-word blurb about you and a portfolio of 10 shots, or a link to your portfolio, before Wednesday 26 July.
The selection of the 20 finalists who will attend NZFW 2017 will be made with the help of Kingsize Studios on Friday 28 July and all entrants notified.
Please note, flights, accommodations and transport are at participant's own cost.
