A sell-out event in 2015, the Fashion Quarterly show at New Zealand Fashion Weekend will once again enable us to bring the pages of our magazine to life.

This year, in association with Newmarket, we are partnering with New Zealand fashion designers from whose SS17 collections Fashion Quarterly editor, Sally-Ann Mullin, will create a range of runway-ready looks that will translate effortlessly into our readers' everyday lives. This year’s designers include Liam, Moochi, Zambesi, Kate Sylvester & twenty-seven names.

A showcase of the best the New Zealand fashion industry has to offer with the added luxury of these looks being easily accessible from the shopping precinct of Newmarket.

Executed in The Flooring Foundation Runway with Fashion Quarterly flair, the Fashion Quarterly show is not to be missed.

After a few years’ hiatus, the wonderfully colourful WORLD are back on the Fashion Weekend schedule and it’s causing a stir!

Anyone who has been to a WORLD show before knows that they’re in for a theatrical spectacular. Designer Benny Castles says, “We are extremely excited to be showing at Fashion Weekend, with our own Spring/Summer show on the Saturday night, perfect for WORLD faithful to enjoy the collection as it drops in store and see the true spirit of the collection as we see it.”

This show in The Flooring Foundation Runway is tipped to be one of the highlights of the weekend, and you can get in on the action with a premium ticket for just $55 or a standard ticket for $35.

Hitting the runway once more is streetwear brand Federation, this time with it’s spring/summer 16 collection! Watch the show and want to shop the runway?

YMCA & Raise Up Presents Walk The Line

Walk the Line is dedicated to showcasing upcoming young designers at one of New Zealand’s iconic week of the year, New Zealand Fashion Week 2016.  The show is presented in The Flooring Foundation Runway by YMCA Auckland’s youth programme, Raise Up.

Raise Up is a key programme of the organisation focussing on creating opportunities for young people and empowering them to make a positive change in their communities.

Since 2011, Walk the Line has continued to show its popularity during New Zealand Fashion Week as a consistent sell-out most years. As the only show led and driven by local youth, Walk the Line gives young designers the opportunity to display their garments on a world stage platform. It goes both ways, for youth involved in the Raise Up crew, they are solely responsible for the event management, production, promotion and sales of the show.
